Utility Engineer
The City of Williamsburg's Public Works and Utilities Department is seeking a Utility Engineer. This role involves overseeing and assisting with projects related to transportation infrastructure, stormwater, water, and sanitary sewer systems operated by the City.

Responsibilities
Applying professional knowledge and skills necessary to oversee and assist with administering projects and tasks assigned to the Engineering Division of the City’s Public Works and Utilities Department
Work on transportation infrastructure, stormwater, water, and sanitary sewer systems operated and maintained by the City
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
Five (5) years of related experience or
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Licensed as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Certified as a VDOT Work Zone Traffic Control (Basic or Intermediate)
Certified as a DEQ Stormwater Plan Reviewer or Erosion & Sediment Control Plan Reviewer
