NCS Engineers is an experienced engineering design firm specializing in water and wastewater services. They are hiring an Engineering Intern for their Water/Wastewater department to assist with projects and develop entry-level engineering skills under the supervision of a senior engineer.

Responsibilities

Provides general support to the engineering department as defined by supervisor
Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with the development of appropriate solutions
Assists more senior engineers in projects
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Civil EngineeringEnvironmental EngineeringWater/Wastewater TreatmentAutoCADMicrosoft Office SuiteMath SkillsEnglish SkillsTeamworkCommunication Skills

Required

Junior or Senior in a Civil or Environmental Engineering Bachelor's degree program
No experience required
Ability to work in a team environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including detailed report preparation
Excellent computer, math, and English skills
Ability to drive to work

Preferred

Some knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes
Some knowledge of hydraulics, well, and booster pump curves
Some knowledge of basic water treatment design (filtration, chemical feed systems, solids handling, biological treatment and disinfection)
Some knowledge of material properties and corrosion
Some knowledge of civil, mechanical, piping and equipment design
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
