Responsibilities
Use Autodesk Civil 3D to perform accurate drafting and annotation for plan, profile, and detail sheets for various public work projects, including: water resources, drainage, pump stations/lift stations, water, wastewater, reuse water, paving, etc
Complete construction plan sets by compiling all plan and profiles, notes, and detail sheets to present a comprehensive design
Complete redlines for modification of existing plans and notes or preparation of new details or design elements
Coordinating and reviewing design drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper standards are followed
Able to lead and teach others in Civil 3D
Manage small production teams
Qualification
Required
10+ or more years of experience in civil engineering drafting, ideally in water, wastewater, facility, or Water Resources domain
Technical degree, certification or similar in Autodesk Civil 3D
Experience working with engineers and senior designers
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work in a fast–paced environment dedicated to meeting deadlines
Have a working knowledge of CAD standards, features, and annotation styles, line styles, sheet set manager, and drawing setup
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing multi-step tasks
Willingness to learn and expand capabilities
Ability to work in a team and work well with others
Good verbal and written communication skills
