The Facilities and Security Technician will perform routine custodial work, assist with security coverage, and maintain a clean and secure campus environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities
Performs all cleaning for interior and exterior of campus
Maintain proper inventory of all custodial supplies, notifies supervisor for weekly orders
Responds to emergency cleaning requests, as required
Assemble and/or repair items, as needed
Use tools ranging from common hand tools, and cleaning tools
Replace light bulbs and supplies, as needed
Paint and repair walls, doors, frames, etc
Perform additional custodial duties as directed
Perform minor security details
Additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Communicate orally with co-workers, customers, clients, or the public in a face-to-face, one-to-one setting or using a telephone
Work cooperatively with other contractors, employees, various levels of management, and students
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Lift 25-50 pounds
