They are seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer to join their Transportation Planning & Operations group, where the selected candidate will work on a variety of transportation projects, conducting traffic impact studies, safety studies, and transportation planning analyses.

Responsibilities

Working within a team of professionals in developing traffic and transportation planning and engineering solutions for a multitude of transportation projects

Traffic impact studies

Safety studies

Transportation planning analyses

Research and interpret transportation data, community statistics and demographics

Prepare written planning documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports

Traffic data collection and tabulation

Intersection and roadway level of service analyses

Development, analysis and evaluation of traffic improvements

Roadway and intersection conceptual design

Qualification

Required

BS in Civil Engineering

0-1 years of professional transportation engineering experience

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Team oriented with strong capability to work independently

Self-motivated with attention to detail

Ability to think critically

Strong computer skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required

Preferred

EIT preferred

Experience with AutoCAD a plus

Experience with Synchro, Vissim, and/or HCS a plus

Experience with ArcGIS a plus
