Responsibilities
Help design industrial control systems by analyzing requirements and reviewing customer provided design input
Implement control logic and HMI displays based on the functional design
Support a variety of calculations including software hazards analysis, susceptibility analysis, FMEAs, and Power/Heat load calculations
Help develop control system platform standards
Perform part change evaluations to address obsolescence
Prepare and implement test procedures for both unit and system level testing
Perform other V&V related activities to support project quality plans
Prepare documents to support the design, implementation, test, and commissioning of industrial control systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
0+ years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques
Understanding of control theory including plant processes, process dynamics, basic control, discrete control, and sequential control
Preferred
Experience with common PLC, SCADA, or DCS platforms is desired
Experience in industrial environments or with industrial control systems
