Responsibilities

Assisting the surgeon and medical team during procedures and passing necessary instruments

Monitoring patient's vital signs and quickly responding to any changes in condition

Assisting with positioning of the surgical patient

Gowning and gloving the surgeon and assisting team prior to surgery

Cleaning and maintaining the operating room, being mindful of the sterile field

Qualification

Certified Surgical TechnologistCPR certifiedCommunication skillsTeam playerDetail oriented

Required

All candidates must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or have equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist

High School Graduate or equivalent

Must possess strong communication skills

Must be a team player

Must be detail oriented

Must be CPR certified or able to obtain
