Responsibilities
Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (50,000–75,000 words) on mom guilt from a biblical perspective
Weave together theology, Scripture, encouragement, and practical application with sensitivity to readers’ struggles in various stages of motherhood
Incorporate stories, examples, and applications that resonate with mothers who feel the weight of guilt, whether in parenting decisions, personal expectations, or spiritual shortcomings
Collaborate with the editorial team for feedback and revisions
Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (studies in theology, Bible, English, humanities, journalism, or counseling/psychology preferred)
Understanding of covenant theology
Strong grasp of biblical theology and how all of Scripture points to Jesus
Personal experience with struggles related to guilt in motherhood, with the ability to write authentically about those challenges
Familiarity with how guilt intersects with mental and emotional health (e.g., anxiety, shame, fear of failure, relational tension)
Ability to make deep theological truths accessible to a broad audience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with the writing and editing process
Organized and self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable with collaborative writing and constructive feedback
