Responsibilities
Provide onsite network support for Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and firewall environments
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner
Assist with network design, configuration changes, and best practices
Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and availability
Work with in-house IT staff on escalated tickets and knowledge transfer
Document network changes and provide recommendations for improvements
Support ad-hoc projects as needed, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco technologies
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching, routing, and wireless solutions
Familiarity with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a part-time capacity
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
Working knowledge of Cisco ASA/Firepower or Palo Alto firewalls is a plus
Cisco CCNP (or higher) certification strongly preferred
