Responsibilities

Own complex packaging projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost targets are met

Help set priorities and guide other engineers and technicians in day-to-day tasks and project execution

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance improvements, and sustainable innovations across primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging

Develop specifications, tests methods, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with minimal oversight

Evaluate and recommend materials, designs, and technologies that balance sustainability, functionality, and cost

Use data and design-of-experiments (DOE) principles to make sound technical and business decisions

Work cross-functionally with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to drive successful product launches and packaging improvements worldwide

Ensure all packaging processes comply with regulatory requirements and company standards

Maintain transparency and clarity in documentation, testing, and communication

Keep the end-user experience at the center of every design, deliver packaging that meets shelf life and integrity requirements
