Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Analyze system data, processes, and integrations across platforms
Develop and configure applications within GIS, Maximo, and Salesforce in the Gas Domain
Write, test, and maintain code/scripts (e.g., Python, Java, SQL, JavaScript) while supporting integration between enterprise platforms and external systems
Assist in troubleshooting issues and implementing system improvements
Work alongside senior engineers to optimize performance, security, and reliability
Share your ideas for improving workflows, automating processes, and enhancing user experiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited institution preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Java, SQL, or equivalent
Graduated between May 2025 and June 2026
Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on June 8, 2026, or July 13, 2026
Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy
Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (such as sponsorship for an H-1B, TN, O, L, STEM OPT, or other employment-based work authorization)
Preferred
Exposure to web development or API integration
Familiarity with enterprise platforms (GIS, Maximo, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus!
