Responsibilities
Data Collection and Analysis: Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats
Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to well proposals by analyzing and interpreting geological/geophysical field data
Reservoir Characterization and Analysis: Help senior colleagues collect and analyze data by carrying out routine reservoir characterization and analysis tasks
Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design
Data Management: Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required
Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs
Knowledge Management: Collect and create content, best practices, and case studies to capture and share knowledge
Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media
Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities
Research: Support others by carrying out a range of research activities
Technical Troubleshooting: Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments
Exploration Plan Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of exploration plans for specific projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level. Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in either Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field
Very limited work based experience (0 to 3 months)
None managerial experience
