Responsibilities

Supporting and participating in the assembly, validation, and deployment of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems, and other production equipment
Support Research and Development (IRAD) projects related to automation and robotics technologies
Working with engineering and manufacturing roles to understand requirements and manufacturing processes for which automation tools can be developed and deployed
Capital planning and execution, vendor/integrator engagement, and project management activities to deploy automated solutions at multiple sites across MFC
Responsible for life cycle of automated processes and equipment from implementation to maintenance and upgrades
New developments in automation to facilitate continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and drawing requirements

Required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred

Experience in circuit card assembly or electro-mechanical assembly
Experience in industrial processes and specifications
Experience with SAP manufacturing execution system or equivalent
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts & techniques
Teaming experience with strong written & verbal communication skill
