Outside Sales Representative (Business Development)
Go Local Interactive is a company focused on digital marketing solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand their business opportunities and agency revenue. The role involves identifying and qualifying accounts, scheduling meetings, and collaborating with the marketing team to present strategic solutions to prospective clients.
Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities through prospecting, appointment setting, and face-to-face presentations
Accountable to an annual sales revenue of a minimum of $300,000 and monthly sales activity metrics to be established by your direct supervisor
Conduct daily cold-calls and set qualified introduction meetings
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to provide strategic solutions and presentations for prospective client’s
Present digital marketing solutions to prospective clients and educate prospective clients on Go Local Interactive’s product offerings
Assist the Director of New Business Development team members during the sales process
Communicate information received from prospective and current clients internally to the appropriate product teams
Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition
Actively network within local and national professional organizations
Ensure internal programs are properly positioned with our clients
Qualification
Required
Must demonstrate a proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet goals and deadlines
Must demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Must demonstrate presentation skills
Must demonstrate the ability to engage in cold-calling and prospecting
Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information between internal product teams and external clients
Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate in a team-environment to actively pursue goals
Must demonstrate strategic and creative thinking when solving problems
Must demonstrate a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Paid Search, and Lead Generation
Demonstrated proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or another related field preferred
0-1 years of Sales or Business Development experience with a proven track record of success
Preferred
Digital Marketing, Advertising, or media industry experience preferred
SalesForce and/or CRM experience preferred
