Assist patients and physicians as needed

Qualification

ARRT (CT) CertificationARRT (R) RadiographyFL DOH LicenseComputer Software KnowledgePatient Support

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot
Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations
BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
A minimum of one of the following license qualification/certification combinations: FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant and Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography. Within 1 year of hire or transfer into position must obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
FL DOH license qualification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Certification/registration: ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology -OR- NMTCB, -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
FL DOH license qualification: Radiation Therapy Technologist and Certification/registration: ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or Computed Tomography Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program

Preferred

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience
