Responsibilities

Collaborate in the development and execution of product strategies for MSCI’s Private Assets offerings
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, ensuring our products align with market needs and deliver strong commercial value
Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, client pain points, and growth opportunities
Leverage insights to refine product strategies and support market positioning
Collaborate with sales teams to support the execution of targeted sales campaigns, ensuring alignment with MSCI’s overall commercial goals
Gather and synthesize client feedback to inform product development and enhance client satisfaction
Build strong relationships with clients, helping to identify new opportunities and drive product adoption
Partner with Program Management, Marketing, and Sales teams to coordinate the go-to-market planning and execution, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned for successful product launches
Provide subject matter expertise to develop product support collateral and client-facing documentation
Analyze product usage statistics, client behavior data, and market performance to develop insights and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion
Drive data-driven decision-making to refine the product suite and optimize product-market fit
Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis for MSCI’s senior management business reviews
Provide regular updates on product progress, performance, and strategic recommendations

Qualification

Required

5-10 years in product management, business analysis, or commercial roles within the financial services industry
Proven experience in managing and commercializing financial products, particularly in private assets, portfolio management, or investment solutions
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and the ability to create strategies that drive business growth and meet market demands
Proven track record of driving revenue, optimizing pricing, and supporting go-to-market initiatives
Expertise in analyzing large data sets and client behavior to refine product strategy and improve product offerings
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and data analysis platforms
Ability to gather and synthesize client feedback into actionable product development plans
Experience in designing products that align with client needs while balancing commercial objectives
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple teams (e.g., sales, marketing, technology, program management) to drive product success and ensure alignment with overall business strategy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present product strategies to senior leadership
Ability to create compelling presentations and product documentation for clients and internal stakeholders
Strong understanding of finance, particularly in the areas of private estate investment, equity, fixed income, and financial data
A strong desire to deepen your expertise in these areas will be crucial for success in this role
A degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred
