They are looking for an enthusiastic junior System Administrator/Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, responsible for researching, testing, and developing benchmarks for server infrastructure hardware.

Responsibilities
Researching, testing, development and writing in support of benchmarking, and testing
Running publicly available hardware benchmarks and tracking results
Running provided Python/PowerShell/Bash/Shell scripts or interactive steps to stress test server infrastructure hardware
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
2+ years or working knowledge with scripting languages such as Python and Batch/Shell scripts
Ability to take clear notes and write concise technical documentation
Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone
Preferred
2+ years' experience in a Windows environment
2+ years' experience with Linux Administration
1+ year experience in configuring enterprise storage
1+ year consumer hardware benchmarking and testing
2+ years with building sandbox and lab environments
Ability to conduct research to learn and understand new technologies
Additional experience in the following areas: Kubernetes
AI/ML workloads
Microsoft SQL Server
MySQL
Virtualization such as Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV
Nginx
Redis
