They are seeking a Field Risk Control Representative to perform on-site and virtual risk control evaluations, provide risk control reports, and conduct educational seminars for insured entities.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site and virtual risk control evaluations for insured entities to avoid, reduce and/or transfer risk using industry best practice principles

Provide a risk control report to the entity outlining recommendations for reducing risk exposures

Conduct property evaluations

Review safety policies/procedures

Provide targeted and impactful risk control services to our insureds

Conduct educational seminars for our insureds

Work in conjunction our Underwriting and Claims teams to review insured exposures

Optimize risk mitigation implementation

Identify trends

Support other departments in development of forms, policies, and procedures to help improve work processes

Required

Previous working experience with public entities or property and liability insurance

Minimum 2 years of relevant and progressive public risk control experience gained from working in the risk management or insurance industry with knowledge of safety and risk prevention

Bachelor of Science degree, or a related field or the equivalent education and/or experience

Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures

Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy

Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business to proactively respond to changing business environment

Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)

Possess a State issued Driver's License
