Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Build and optimize data pipelines to support analytics and business reporting needs
Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance
Create, modify, and manage reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver solutions
Implement and maintain data quality checks, data governance, and documentation
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across ETL and reporting systems
Work with Azure cloud services for data storage, transformation, and orchestration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server – database design, optimization, and T-SQL programming
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL/ELT workflows
Proficiency in SSRS for report development and deployment
Experience integrating data from multiple sources and systems
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git

Preferred

Experience with Power BI or other BI visualization tools
Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or Data Lake
Exposure to Python or Scala for data transformation tasks
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
