Responsibilities
Design and engineer medium voltage (1kV to 35kV) overhead and underground power distribution systems
Perform scope analysis of work assignments and maintain schedule adherence to align with client priorities
Perform QAQC and Final Reviews of project deliverables
Provide technical oversight to solve complex problems with minimal supervision
Assist with pole loading analysis calculations and equipment sizing for residential projects
Assist with fielding work if needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university is required
3+ years of Distribution Design experience is required
Previous Duke Energy project experience is required
Demonstrated ability or experience with Maximo, BOUD, SEDS, and Pole Foreman
Ability to follow prescribed standards and procedures
Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Must have a valid Driver's License
Report to the Cary, NC, office on a daily basis
Preferred
design QAQC/review experience preferred
Katapult experience is a plus
