Integration & Test Engineer, (Starlink)
SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars and is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer for Starlink. The role involves enhancing the development processes for hardware-in-the-loop systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve testbed operations and performance.

Responsibilities
Pioneer innovative operational strategies to enhance the longevity, efficacy, and performance of existing and next-generation test systems
Boost testbed assembly efficiency by pinpointing and eliminating key pain points, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies
Engineer and fabricate specialized tooling, including heavy machinery and custom equipment, to streamline and accelerate testbed operations
Conduct research and recommend upgrades to capital equipment, machinery, and facility layouts to align with evolving operational needs and stringent safety standards
Forecast demand and orchestrate the flow of flight hardware and critical inventory across multiple SpaceX locations
Deliver actionable insights into test system performance through advanced analytics and intuitive dashboards
Monitor developments in satellite avionics and lead testbed enhancements to ensure full compatibility with the evolving Starlink constellation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
1+ years of experience with CAD and FEA software
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
1+ year or more of experience with SQL, business intelligence/data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI, Grafana, Excel), software development tools (Python, Linux) or discrete event modeling tools
Experience with mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing
Experience as an industrial, operations, quality, process, or manufacturing engineer in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience with CAD and factory layouts
Proficiency with statistics, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and visualization
Experience with inventory, production, and capacity planning (including MRP/ERP systems)
Proficient in identifying system enhancement opportunities, understanding end-user requirements, and the ability to translate end-user needs into design requirements
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with ongoing drive for continuous improvement in all aspects of work
Creative approach to problem solving, exceptional analytical skills and engineering fundamentals
Strong communication skills and the ability to make presentations to engineering teams, internal customers, and leadership
