Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of high-capacity donors, with a strong focus on identifying and acquiring new major gifts of $10,000 or above
Conduct face-to-face solicitations and deliver personalized stewardship that strengthens relationships and increases philanthropic support across multiple campaigns
Partner with development leadership to implement data-informed strategies that build a robust pipeline of future major donors
Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure high-quality donor experiences and maximize overall philanthropic outcomes
Help design and actively participate in high-impact events, meetings, and missions that bring donors closer to the Federation’s mission and demonstrate community impact
Work alongside lay leaders, volunteers, and professional staff to leverage community networks and deepen donor relationships
Maintain detailed donor records in the CRM system and regularly report on key fundraising metrics, including retention, upgrades, and new donor acquisition
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree
7+ years of nonprofit fundraising or relationship management experience, with a strong emphasis on major gifts
A proven track record of securing gifts of $10,000+
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships
A deep passion for Jewish values, community, and philanthropy
Experience using donor management systems such as Raiser's Edge or Salesforce
A self-motivated, organized approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
