Sales Operations Manager

They are seeking a highly organized and commercially astute Sales Operations Manager to support and optimize their sales function, drive operational efficiency, and improve sales processes within the plastics packaging industry.

Packaging & Containers

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the sales function
Develop, implement, and refine sales processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor and enhance CRM usage and data integrity across the sales team
Generate and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs to support strategic decision-making
Provide actionable insights to sales leadership based on data trends and performance metrics
Coordinate pricing, quotations, and contract management in collaboration with commercial and finance teams
Support the onboarding and training of new sales team members
Liaise with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales and operational capabilities
Act as a key point of contact between sales and supply chain to manage lead times, stock availability, and customer expectations
Lead or support commercial projects such as new product launches, customer segmentation, and territory planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or similar)
5+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, or business analysis, preferably within the plastics, packaging, or manufacturing industries
Proven track record of improving sales processes and supporting high-performing sales teams
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Preferred

Additional training or certification in sales operations, project management, or data analytics is a plus
