Responsibilities

Convert WordPress sites to Shopify ready sites with legacy compelling content and information

Build out the eCommerce strategy for the firm that includes design and making eCommerce ready pages – to achieve the company’s revenue goals

Develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom apps

Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways

Optimize site performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness

Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Shopify stores

Stay current with Shopify updates, Liquid language, and eCommerce trends

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience with Shopify development

Experience with other platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento)

Knowledge of UX/UI best practices

Shopify certification or relevant coursework
