Responsibilities

Draft equipment qualification studies (i.e., system volume, mixer RPM setpoints, cleaning development, Mixing, etc.)
Perform equipment qualification studies (i.e., gathering samples, recording data, compiling data, etc.)
Write engineering reports and test protocols
Organize, sort, and file relevant documentation for equipment (i.e., design files, manufacturing drawings, P&ID, manuals, spare parts list, PM schedules, test protocols, etc.)
Actively engage and support engineering priorities related to expansion efforts
Evaluate safety, quality, production, and cost/efficiency of equipment
Ensure that engineering support is performed in compliance with cGMP regulations and company policies/procedures
Design, develop, create, install, and assist in production processes and equipment qualification
Create and execute process equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ)
Support engineering teams and engage with third-party engineering services, suppliers, and external partners to ensure designs meet intended use requirements

Required

Availability Summer of 2026 (May - Aug)
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering/technical degree (i.e., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication
Thrives while working within a cross-functional team environment
Ability to work independently at times
Demonstrate Initiative and show attention to detail
Intellectual curiosity to understand what you don't know
Ability to apply scientific and engineering skills to evaluate and develop processes
Willing to offer practical solutions to technical challenges

Preferred

Mechanical proficiency and hands-on experience with machine design a plus
