They are seeking a Staff Data Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced data infrastructure that supports actionable insights and enhances operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain scalable, high-performance data infrastructure and platform to support the company's data usage and analytics needs
Design and implement solutions that reduce friction in accessing and using data across the organization
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure the platform meets diverse data requirements
Continuously improve and optimize data pipelines, making data easily accessible and usable for various teams
Invest into automation daily to simplify data infrastructure and platform, continuously improving reliability, security, quality, and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in data systems, ensuring smooth operation and data integrity
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in the company’s data infrastructure
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data infrastructure and / or backend software engineering
Solid experience working with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and EMR to build and manage scalable data infrastructures
Hands-on experience with data processing engines like Spark is highly desirable
Strong software engineering skills, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in one or more languages like Python, GoLang, Java, Ruby, or C++
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, take initiative, and collaborate effectively across teams
Proven leadership abilities and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude in managing projects and delivering high-quality results
Preferred
Familiarity with data tools like Snowflake and / or Databricks is a plus
