National Account Manager

Responsibilities

Drives the sales results through building and managing strong relationships with key national accounts
Focuses on developing strategic account plans, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the successful delivery of products or services for our largest customers
Serves as the primary point of contact for major clients and works cross-functionally with internal teams to meet customers’ needs and business objectives
Owns the entire sales process and outcome with national accounts across all geographic areas
Manages national customers as a primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle and post sales activity
Develops strategies for national accounts for growth and cross sell expansion
Develops strategic presentations used in distributor and end customer settings to effectively present key insights to internal and external stakeholders
Identifies strategic sales opportunities supported by category- and customer-driven insights
Develops and supports customer-facing sales plans and forecasts that align with company KPI and customer targets
Achieves sales volume to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota levels
Negotiates contracts, pricing, and service level agreements in line with company policies
Represents the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Required

Minimum of 7 years sales experience preferably within a manufacturing environment
Own the entire sales process and outcome with national accounts across all geographic areas
Manage national customers as a primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle and post sales activity
Develop strategies for national accounts for growth and cross sell expansion
Develop strategic presentations used in distributor and end customer settings to effectively present key insights to internal and external stakeholders
Identify strategic sales opportunities supported by category- and customer-driven insights
Develop and support customer-facing sales plans and forecasts that align with company KPI and customer targets
Achieve sales volume to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota levels
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements in line with company policies
Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Demonstrated ability to initiate, negotiate and close agreements with large accounts and maintain relationships at all levels; proven understanding of go-to-market strategies

Preferred

Excellent business management skills including forecast accuracy and pipeline development
Must be able to travel overnight 60% or more
