They are currently looking for an experienced structural engineer to join their Forensic Engineering Department, focusing on the investigation of failing or aging buildings and structures, as well as the design of their repair.

Responsibilities
Preparing designs and drawings for repairs
Performing detailed inspections
Project management from intake to invoicing
Assessments of residential and commercial structural components and building envelopes
Taking notes and photographs
Preparing written reports
Coordination with owners, facility managers and general contractors
Responding to emergency investigation requests which may impact public safety
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or related engineering
Experience in structural or architectural design
Experience with structural analysis software
Experience in preparation of technical specifications
Current Professional Engineering or Architect license in PA, NJ, DE, MD (or ability to obtain it)
Ability to obtain PA Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Experience in assessment and repair design of building envelopes and facades, parking garages, bridges, buildings
Experience with insurance investigation of roof or structure damage due to hail, wind, water, fire, etc
HAAG roofing certifications
Ability to carry 50 - 100 lb. ladder
Be comfortable with heights and walking on sloped roofs
