They are seeking a Tax Analyst to join their corporate tax team, where the role involves compliance, planning, accounting, and audit matters related to global operations, while also contributing to process improvements in tax compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in the quarterly and annual tax provision process including gathering data and documentation to support current expense calculations, maintenance of deferred assets and the payable proof

Key team member in preparing supporting documentation for internal reporting to Japan and external financial reporting

Preparation of tax return workpapers including book to tax calculations and assist in preparation of key tax calculations including R&D credit, foreign-derived intangible income deduction, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, state apportionment, and others, as assigned

Utilization of OneSource software, SAP ERP system and other software systems

Willingness to learn new data analysis tools and implement best-practices in data management and improved process efficiency in support of the tax function

Support federal and state tax audits by gathering information requests, responding to inquiries, and day to day management of audits

Assist with the preparation of income tax quarterly estimates and extensions calculations. Work closely with staff and treasury to coordinate payments

Assist with annual reports, business licenses, Pillar 2 reporting, Japanese CFC reporting and tax notices
