Early Career Environmental Engineer/Scientist

They are seeking an Early Career Environmental Engineer/Scientist to join their team, where the successful candidate will work on various projects related to site investigation, remediation, and data analysis under the supervision of project managers.

Responsibilities

Perform outdoor, all-season field tasks such as drilling oversight, soil / groundwater sampling, soil vapor sampling, soil and groundwater remediation implementation, remediation system operation and maintenance, construction oversight, monitoring, etc
Work on all phases of projects (due diligence, site investigation, data evaluation, system design, engineering analysis, remedial system construction oversight, remediation system operation and maintenance)
Monitoring and documenting various aspects of investigation/remediation projects
Conducting technical analyses/calculations
Analyzing and interpreting various site-specific data
Writing drafts of field and engineering reports

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field required
2 to 5 years of Relevant work experience in the fields of site investigation, remediation
Strong problem-solving ability, communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform field tasks and activities
Ability to travel locally and regionally
Candidates must have a valid driver's license in good standing and a reliable vehicle

Preferred

Master's Degree
Strong Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Database and/or ArcGIS skills
Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
EIT
