Perform all radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis of specific diseases or conditions

Qualification

ARRT RegisteredRadiologic Sciences DegreeAHA BLS CertificationVerbalPatient CareInterpersonal SkillsWritten Skills

Required

Graduated from an accredited program in the radiologic sciences

ARRT (Radiography) registered, or registry eligible

Maintain a current AHA BLS certification through Cape Fear Valley Training and Development department

Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

New graduates must be ARRT registered or registry eligible

Registry eligible new graduates must be registered by ARRT in Radiography within twelve months of hire date

Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills

Verbal and written skills required

Demonstrate good patient care

Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understand the range of treatment needed for all age groups

Provide care based on the patient's developmental need

Experienced in the treatment of and interacts effectively with patients of all ages

This position requires a lot of standing and bending

Must have manual dexterity and visual acuity

Must have mobility to assume awkward positions

Must have the mobility to respond to emergency situations

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Must be able to bend and lift

Must be able to lift 100 lbs/carry objects up to 50 lbs

ARRT - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists

Preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
