Senior Production Planner

Responsibilities
Serve as a key point of contact for production units, sister sites, and global supply chain partners during SIOP/SIOE planning processes
Provide strategic input and direction on manufacturing priorities to stakeholders
Proactively identify and resolve material shortages impacting build plans
Identify and execute projects that support service level, build plan, on-time delivery, and inventory objectives
Own work-in-process (WIP) and subassembly inventory management for assigned areas
Train associates on planning and materials processes
Manage critical master data elements, including safety stock, yields, and lead times
Analyze and communicate inventory and recovery plans as needed
Perform "what-if" scenario planning to support production strategies
Lead and participate in continuous improvement and Lean Business Process (LBP) initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to manage product lifecycle activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing planning, inventory control, demand planning, or supply chain management
Experience with Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience with Advanced Planning Systems (APS), preferably Kinaxis RapidResponse
Planning experience in vertically integrated manufacturing environments
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or similar)
Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and/or project management initiatives
