Responsibilities

Collaborate with our Delivery team on the AVEVA operations software platform, contributing to its development and deployment across various sectors

Shadow experts gain insights into solution design, testing, and implementation of our industrial solutions

Explore innovative ways to market our products, expand to new regions, and contribute to strategy development and performance enhancements

Be a part of the client-facing Delivery Services team assisting in the selection of AVEVA software and its usage after it has been released

Assist in designing, deploying and testing software applications, under the guidance of subject matter experts

Assist in establishing global standards for data architecture that all customers can apply to help ensure the goals of the end user are met or exceeded at full scale

Engage in projects that could range from market analysis to technological innovation

Your contributions could include strategic development, solution redesign, or performance optimization

Required

Current enrollment in a relevant STEM field, Instrumentation & Controls, Technology and Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Capable of articulating technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Programming and scripting skills

Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack is a plus

Foundational understanding of Python, JavaScript, C#, or CSS

Familiarity with Saas, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other cloud platforms

Experience with SQL, data analytics, and data modeling with an emphasis on interpreting operational data from oil & gas systems

Basic understanding of REST APIs and web services, particularly for integrating simulation tools and industrial data sources

Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Jenkins)

Basic knowledge of industrial automation systems or SCADA platforms is a plus, especially for monitoring pipeline operations and thermodynamic processes

Ability to work with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence

Ability to tackle complex issues with a logical and analytical approach

Proficiency in analyzing data and making data-driven decisions. Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies is beneficial

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in collaborative projects is desirable

Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and changes in a dynamic work environment

Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and apply them effectively
