The Construction Management Intern will work closely with a project manager to gain exposure to safety protocol, communication with customers, and financial performance in the electrical construction industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure the project is constructed following design, budget, and schedule

Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project, including, but not limited to, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen

Assist the Project Manager in the authorization and/or approval of all project staffing, including, but not limited to, the choice of superintendent, general foreman, and foremen

Assist with estimating projects and creating bid proposals

Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests

Assists in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met

Assist in the maintenance of all official project documentation and logs

Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions

Perform additional assignments per the supervisor's direction
