Responsibilities
Own complex product areas end-to-end — from shaping vision and strategy to delivering polished, high-quality experiences across multiple ordering surfaces
Drive horizontal ordering innovation, designing new, flexible pathways that make ordering possible from anywhere inspiration strikes
Apply strong product and system thinking to define how ordering experiences connect and scale across the DoorDash ecosystem
Design for both the platform and the user, balancing usability, scalability, and business impact through thoughtful frameworks and reusable patterns
Elevate craft and cohesion across the ordering experience through refined interaction design, visual excellence, and attention to detail
Collaborate deeply with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to turn complex problems into elegant, system-driven solutions
Influence team strategy and culture, helping define what best-in-class design thinking and execution look like within DoorDash’s Core Consumer Experience team
Impact millions of customers every day by shaping the platform that powers how people discover, decide, and order on DoorDash
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a senior-level designer
Strong portfolio across consumer mobile and web experiences
Ability to thrive in complex problem spaces
Structured design thinking and strong execution skills
Deep product intuition and system design skills
Ability to translate complexity into intuitive, scalable experiences
Passion for UI innovation and visual craft
Ability to communicate design decisions with clarity and influence
Proactive and collaborative mindset
Excitement to drive impact in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
