The IT Helpdesk Intern will provide first-level technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems for internal users.

Responsibilities
Acts as the first point of contact for technical support requests from users via tickets, email, and phone
Assists with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers
Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software
Troubleshoots basic network connectivity, printer, and peripheral issues
Creates and manages user accounts and access permissions
Escalates complex technical issues to senior IT staff
Protects operations by keeping information confidential
Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools and technology
Improves operations by recommending changes in policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Strong understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems preferred
Experience with helpdesk ticketing software (Jira, Helpdesk, Zoho)
Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management
Customer service experience
A+ or similar IT certifications are a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Windows Powershell or Linux Shell Scripting
