Responsibilities

Perform a variety of carpentry work including furniture repair, leveling, refinishing projects, and the construction of shelves, desks, and platforms. Install, hang, or remove doors as needed

Repair items made of timber or wood products such as luggage racks, furniture, picture frames, desks, chairs, and mirrors

Install, maintain, and repair locks, hardware, fixtures, and fittings throughout the property

Repair and maintain the banquet partition door system

Install and repair mirrors, artwork, and glass fixtures

Install and repair wall and floor tiles as required

Maintain and refinish wooden floors throughout the hotel

Complete all assigned work safely, efficiently, and to Four Seasons standards

Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate precautions when handling tools, chemicals, ladders, and other potentially hazardous materials or equipment

Complete all assigned projects and work orders in a timely manner

Respond promptly to repair requests and inspection reports submitted by other departments

Follow proper payroll, timekeeping, and uniform procedures

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area

Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner, reflecting the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

Report all accidents or safety incidents immediately, regardless of severity

Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments

Respond appropriately to hotel emergencies and safety situations

Perform other tasks or special projects as assigned by management
