They have an opening for an ambitious Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join their Realization Controls team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where the intern will utilize engineering processes and tools in designing, planning, and inventorying for customer orders according to schedule, budget, and scope.

Responsibilities
Learn TGW and industry technologies and products
Complete internal training of related engineering processes and tools
Verify accuracy of controls design documentation, including sensor/actuator reports, controls component order lists, electrical drawings, motor lists, etc
Controls Systems engineering – create and maintain sensor/actuator reports and controls component order lists, etc. – on project under direction of a lead engineer
Inventory logistics after completion of projects
Support the specification and clarification of controls interfaces to equipment supplied by third-parties
Support on-site controls installation and logistics
Qualification
Required
Junior or senior-level student in Electric or Computer Engineering
Willing to travel 30% of the time to customer sites
Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to go to site frequently and move safely around industrial and/or warehouse environment
Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds at a time
Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices
Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis
Ability to tolerate exposure to job site temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather in geographic region
This position may require work at TGW customer sites
TGW's customers may require background checks before accessing their sites
