The operator is responsible for setting up and operating a screen printing press, ensuring that production meets quality standards through inspection and quality processes.

Responsibilities
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, producing quality products
Inspect product produced to job specifications and quality standards
Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor or lead
Obtains needed supplies to produce jobs
Be able to read, review, and understand job tickets and proofs
Completes production records as required by company guidelines
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Ensures cleanliness of work area
Project positive and professional behavior/attitude
Follow administrative procedures established for inter/intradepartmental interaction
Additional tasks/duties/special projects may be assigned, as necessary
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 year of printing experience is required (screen printing preferred)
Proficient computer skills required
Mechanical aptitude
Good color perception
Detail oriented
Works well with hands, with good fine-motor skills
Basic computer skills
Work independently with little supervision
Able to make good decisions when problems present themselves
Multi-task – ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
Actively seeks and identifies opportunities to contribute
