Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions that enable better decision making
Develop key metrics and performance indicators that drive continuous improvement across Leo's operations
Define analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve productivity
Build self-service reporting solutions that scale across the organization
Write complex SQL queries and develop efficient data pipelines to support both recurring and ad-hoc analytical needs
Build and maintain robust data infrastructure in collaboration with BIEs/DEs, ensuring data quality, availability, and scalability
Effectively communicate complex analytical insights to diverse stakeholders through clear documentation and presentations
Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members, promoting analytics best practices across the organization
Stay current with AI/ML advancements (especially around LLMs and GenAI) and evangelize new technologies within the BIE and analytics community

Required

7+ years of SQL experience
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
5+ years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other relevant data visualization software experience
Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software

Preferred

Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
