Staff Product Manager – Messaging Machine Learning & AI

Responsibilities
Set Vision & Strategy: Define and own the product strategy for Machine Learning and AI decisioning, partnering with Engineering, Design, Product, and Marketing to drive customers to their next best action, whether its content they’ll love or information about their membership
Messaging ML Execution & Delivery: Partner with Data Science and ML Engineers to design and deploy predictive models (e.g., take rate models, contextual bandits) that inform not only which campaign to send, but through what channel and at what time. Translate model outputs into ranking and eligibility policies that integrate with messaging & CRM systems
Measurement & Optimization: Partner with Data Science, Experimentation, and Analytics teams to define KPIs, set up experiments (A/B tests, Multi-Armed Bandits), and interpret results to assess offer effectiveness and model accuracy. Iterate on models and offer strategies based on experimental results, behavioral insights, and business context. Maintain an always-on learning agenda to evolve messaging strategies over time
Infrastructure & Enablement: Define product requirements for decision engines, orchestration, and self-serve tools that enable non-technical partners to configure campaigns within guardrails. Partner with Engineering and Data Platform teams to ensure infrastructure is scalable, performant, and adaptable across global markets
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and other stakeholders, advocating for the consumer messaging vision & trade-offs
Qualification
Required
8+ years of product management experience in CRM, growth, monetization, or ML/AI-driven products
Proven track record of partnering with Data Science and Engineering to launch ML-powered features and models at scale
Hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, multi-armed bandits, holdouts), especially for CRM and lifecycle communications
Strong product intuition with the ability to balance data, model performance, business goals, and user experience
Ability to write clear end-to-end product requirements, from backend offer logic to front-end presentation and messaging, ensuring automated and ML-driven campaigns are delivered with clarity, consistency, and impact
Strong Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with backend systems, data infrastructure, and multi-platform environments (web, mobile, CTV)
Outstanding Communication Skills: Strong communicator who can influence without authority, align cross-functional teams, and bring clarity to ambiguity
Deeply Curious: Deep interest in personalization, behavioral science, and maximizing customer lifetime value
Preferred
Industry Expertise: Familiarity with CRM systems & other messaging surfaces is preferred
Experience with Direct-to-consumer video and streaming subscription products is a plus
