Senior Accountant
Astranis Space Technologies builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity’s reach into the solar system. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of financial operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities
Own core accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
Ensure the accuracy of financial results in compliance with GAAP
Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership to provide clear, timely financial reporting
Present monthly and quarterly results to the Finance leadership team
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline close and reporting cycles
Assist in preparing for audits and work directly with auditors
Contribute to system enhancements, internal controls, and automation initiatives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience applying it in practice
Track record of executing month-end close and delivering accurate financial reporting
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex analyses)
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, Or Refugee/Asylee Status Required (To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
Preferred
CPA certification or CPA-track
Public accounting experience
Hands-on Netsuite experience
Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed company
Experience with consolidations, multiple entity structures, complex business models, preparing accruals, and/or managing prepaids and fixed asset subledgers
