Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing legal documents for court filings, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
Conduct legal research related to tax law and real estate transactions to support case preparation
Draft correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed for various legal matters
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters to gather information and provide updates
Attend and assist in client meetings, depositions, and hearings as required
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards in all aspects of work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm, focusing on tax law and real estate
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and regulations
Excellent research and writing skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Certification from a recognized paralegal program
