Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate structured RCA workshops for major events, recurring issues, and high-cost failures
Standardize RCA methodology and tools across the business to ensure consistency and rigor
Ensure CAPA actions are defined, executed, and closed with measurable impact
Drive Lessons learned across the business
Measure and drive projects to improve COQ
Analyze failure data to identify trends and systemic risks
Drive defect elimination programs across EPC, commissioning, and LNG operations
Partner with HSSE and Quality to reduce risks to safety, compliance, and operational reliability
Capture, document, and share lessons learned across procurement, project delivery, and operations
Build a centralized knowledge base of RCA cases, corrective actions, and effectiveness reviews
Ensure lessons learned are embedded into design standards, training, and operating procedures
Track RCA effectiveness through KPIs and provide regular updates to CI leadership
Quantify financial and operational benefits from RCA and CAPA actions
Use dashboards and analytics to provide transparency to senior leadership
Train engineers, operators, and managers on RCA methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree)
Build a problem-solving mindset across the business to proactively identify and resolve issues
Mentor RCA specialists and develop internal capability for advanced RCA
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or related field required
5+ years in quality, operations, or CI roles in LNG, oil & gas, or industrial sectors
Proven experience leading RCA programs with measurable outcomes
Strong background in CAPA management and defect elimination
Proficiency in RCA tools and structured problem-solving methods
Strong analytical and facilitation skill
Collaborative leader with ability to influence cross-functional teams
Skilled facilitator who can engage all levels of the organization
Results-driven with a passion for operational excellence
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
