Responsibilities
Conduct On-Site Inspections: Visit damaged properties and assess loss
Gather Information: Interview policyholders, witnesses, and involved parties
Document Findings: Submit detailed reports with photos and documentation
Analyze Coverage: Review policy details and determine applicable coverage
Negotiate Settlements: Reach fair resolutions with claimants and third parties
Resolve Disputes: Address and close any disputes professionally
Communicate Clearly: Keep all stakeholders informed throughout the process
Collaborate with Teams: Work with underwriters, legal, and internal partners
Ensure Compliance: Follow all state, federal, and internal regulations
Support CAT Events: Travel to catastrophe zones when required
Qualification
Required
3+ years of field claims adjusting experience required
Strong knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware; local building codes; structural repairs
Valid adjuster license for your working state(s)
Strong understanding of coverage, limits, and liability
Skilled in reaching fair settlements and resolving disputes
Preferred
CPCU, AIC, or other relevant training preferred
