Control Panel Assembler

WET (Design) creates projects that transform the way people experience nature’s elements. The Control Panel Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing control panels, ensuring high-quality standards and functionality.

Responsibilities

Assemble control panels according to specifications and schematics
Perform electrical wiring, ensuring all connections are secure and meet safety standards
Working knowledge of related components such as: Din Rails, PLC's, VFD Drives, Motors, Fuses, Relays, Power Supplies, Separators, Jumpers, Caps, Blocks, Bus, Switches, Terminal Blocks etc
Perform Lay-outs, Punch, drill, tapp, wire routing, labeling, cable terminating and crimping, etc
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for assembly tasks
Test completed panels for functionality, troubleshooting any issues that arise
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve assembly processes
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency

Required

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively

Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
