Responsibilities
Performing radiographic examinations
Assisting radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies
Performing exams in the operating room and the emergency room
Demonstrating complete competency to operate all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic equipment
Performing exams in a timely manner so that rooms may be turned around
Demonstrating an ability to accurately perform all routine procedures, to include arthrograms, venograms, myelograms, lumbar puncture, sialograms, barium studies and any study requiring contrast injection
Demonstrating the ability to assess film quality and make corrections when necessary
Completing all computer procedures as required for quality management and demonstrating knowledge of ordering, tracking and canceling exams
Performing exams in the emergency room and surgery in a competent and timely manner
Demonstrating the ability to operate all portables and C-Arm equipment
Maintaining a repeat rate of less than 5%
Qualification
Required
Training in the field of radiology technology
Competency to operate all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic equipment
Ability to perform radiographic examinations
Assisting radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies
Performing exams in the operating room and the emergency room
Ability to accurately perform all routine procedures, to include arthrograms, venograms, myelograms, lumbar puncture, sialograms, barium studies and any study requiring contrast injection
Ability to assess film quality and make corrections when necessary
