Responsibilities
Establish, mentor, and oversee expanding technical teams throughout the United States and European markets
Take ownership of building leadership frameworks, defining technical strategy, establishing operational procedures, and ensuring successful delivery across software development and artificial intelligence initiatives
Emphasize management responsibilities, strategic oversight, technical decision authority, and talent development over individual programming contributions
Direct technical innovation for solutions that actively support national defense and aviation safety
Establish and grow technical teams during a crucial expansion period
Operate at the convergence of artificial intelligence, machine vision, and defense systems
Define engineering practices, workflows, and technical benchmarks from inception while overseeing geographically distributed teams across the U.S. and Europe
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership
Proven track record of building and mentoring technical teams
Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine vision systems
Experience in defining technical strategy and operational procedures
Ability to ensure successful delivery across software development initiatives
Management responsibilities and strategic oversight experience
Technical decision authority in previous roles
Experience in talent development and team growth
Ability to collaborate with executive leadership, including Managing Director and CEO
