Quality Control Analyst
Corrugated Supplies Company (CSC) is America’s largest independent sheet feeder, dedicated to providing innovative solutions for corrugated sheets. The Quality Control Analyst performs routine testing on corrugated fiberboard and raw materials, leading trials for new grades and ensuring product quality through collaboration with the Alsip MiniMill.

Responsibilities
Ensures the monthly requirements of testing on random samples of combined board as well as raw materials are satisfied
Takes the lead in organizing and running trials on the corrugators, tests the trial material and completes a test report showing the results
Analyzes test data to observe trends, highlight poor quality, and find opportunities to improve our products
Involved with routine meetings/conference calls with the Alsip MiniMill to discuss quality, performance, and trials
Occasionally will test samples of converted product from our customers to verify quality specifications are met
Works with our customers when they run into issues with quality
Completes and sends out certificate of compliance forms for our customers’ certified orders
Qualification
Required
Legal right to work in the United States
Strong math, computer, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Professional, courteous and positive manner
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple task functions simultaneously
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods
Ability to manage visual exertion due to prolonged periods working with computers
Ability to reach vertically and horizontally with hands and arms
Possess the required visual abilities of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Preferred
University degree or college diploma is strongly preferred but not required
Prior work experience in the work industry is preferred, but not required
A form of customer service background is preferred
