Human Resources Generalist

The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting people-focused initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals by partnering with leadership to deliver comprehensive HR support in areas such as employee relations, organizational development, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with HR and Leadership to foster an engaged, high-performing workforce aligned with business goals
Lead change management initiatives, aligning stakeholders and supporting successful implementation
Identify organizational needs and implement solutions related to employee development, culture, policy, and performance
Promote and ensure consistent application of company values and HR policies
Conduct thorough workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions
Coach leaders and employees on performance, conduct, and corrective action
Deliver employee development and training initiatives aligned with business and talent strategies
Support succession planning and career path development across business units
Knowledgeable on Fabick Cat benefit programs to best answer questions that may arise from employees
Maintain employee records in the HRIS (e.g., ADP Workforce Now); oversee changes, updates, and data accuracy
Administer organizational changes, offboarding, and exit interviews
Handle unemployment claims and hearings via a third-party vendor
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
Contribute to the evolution of HR programs related to compensation, benefits, recruiting, and L&D
Lead follow-up actions from employee roundtables, stay interviews, and feedback sessions
Drive communication efforts to promote transparency and two-way dialogue across teams
Promote a culture of accountability, equity, and continuous improvement

Experience with HRIS (e.g., ADP Workforce Now)
Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
